Lawrence Dickstein is Relationship Manager, Solutions and
Decision Advisor, Executive Vice President of Real Estate
Strategies Corporation (“RealStrat”), a New Jersey
based corporate real estate advisory and transaction services
firm. RealStrat’s clients include the US operations
of public, private, domestic and global companies, and not-for-profit
organizations in a multitude of industries from numerous countries.
As Solutions and Decision Advisor at RealStrat,
Mr. Dickstein draws on his diverse background to promote intelligent
decision making, thereby fostering practical business decisions
on his clients’ behalf. Larry brings to his clients
an unusual depth of knowledge about the specific operational
and strategic challenges experienced by corporate executives
when engaged in real estate transactions. Larry employs a
keen understanding of the corporation’s view of real
estate and its resulting sensitivities.
Mr. Dickstein draws on his previous experiences,
having held positions with an impressive list of prestigious
internationally known companies, including: Vice President
Real Estate at Lehman Brothers, Director of Real Estate Planning
and Acquisitions for Merrill Lynch & Co., Real Estate
Negotiator for Prudential Securities, and Lease Analyst at
Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. Building on his success,
Larry later joined commercial brokerage company, Joseph Hilton
& Associates, where for five years, he advised corporate
occupants in the acquisition and disposition of leased and
owned real estate. He founded Dickstein Real Estate Services,
an international commercial real estate firm based in Bridgewater,
New Jersey. Seeking to bring to his clients an even greater
sophistication and broader service model than that for which
he had already become known under his own firm, Larry later
joined RealStrat. Mr. Dickstein also
spent three years as a member of the Franklin Township (Somerset
County) Zoning Board of Adjustment.
During his more than thirty year distinguished
career as a provider of corporate real estate advisory and
transaction services, Mr. Dickstein has relied on one unmistakable
guiding principal as the foundation of his business and service
philosophy. This highly important mindset, which overarches
all of his professional relationships, is to treat each of
his clients with the respect, diplomacy, and high levels of
service he demands of those who serve him. Larry best advises
his clients by distilling complex real estate issues into
practical financial and operational solutions. By carefully
guiding his clients through the various alternatives that
he develops on their behalf, and by aggressively negotiating
with transactional opponents, Larry's goal is always to exceed
his clients' business and real estate objectives.
Mr. Dickstein is the author of The
